Swiss Cup: First Round Draw Set for July 5th
32 Matches to Be Contested
The draw for the first round of the Swiss Cup will take place on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022. A total of 32 matches will be drawn, with the matches taking place on July 30th and 31st.
The draw will be streamed live on the Swiss Football Association's website. The 32 teams involved in the draw will be the 20 winners of the regional cup competitions, the 10 best-placed teams from the 2021-22 Swiss Challenge League, and the two best-placed teams from the 2021-22 Swiss Promotion League.

On Wednesday, November 9th, 2022, the draw for the quarterfinals of the Swiss Cup took place on SRF zwei during the live broadcast of Schweizer Cup.
Eighth-Final Draw Features Two Derbies
The draw for the eighth finals of the Swiss Cup has resulted in two derbies between teams from the same region. Onex will face Sion, while Servette will take on SLO. The matches will be played on February 18th and 19th, 2023.
