Tamayo Perry, a stuntman and experienced big wave surfer who appeared in a Pirates of the Caribbean movie, has tragically died at 49 after being attacked by a shark while surfing off Oahu in Hawaii.

The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when Perry was surfing at Mālaekahana Beach. According to witnesses, he was bitten by a large shark and suffered severe injuries. Lifeguards responded quickly and transported Perry to shore, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
